Science and Technology Park of Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS) was established in 2009 under the auspices of the then Ministry of Culture and higher Education. This park’s main aim is to increase the wealth of its community by promoting the culture of innovation and the competitiveness of its associated businesses and knowledge-based institutions. In order to meet these goals, a science park stimulates and manages the flow of knowledge and technology amongst universities, R&D institutions, companies and markets; it facilitates the creation and growth of innovation-based companies through incubation processes; and provides other value-added services together with high quality space and facilities. Currently there are 3 buildings that houses approximately more than 50 tech companies in the park including 18 knowledge-based firms and 4 R&D Corporation. Science and Technology Park of Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences is a strategically planned, purpose-built work environment which is desired to locate in close proximity to the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences.
